OHS are manufacturers of Pipe, BOP and Riser Handling & Lifting Systems and have an established track record in the Offshore Industry. Owner and Managing Director Mike Smith states, we are very pleased to bring onboard the products, experience and expertise that OHS provides to the Industry as a whole, and the increase in product range, services and support that we can now offer.
We are also very exited about the ability to now be able to provide our customers with a turnkey service for the supply and installation of OHS Products in conjunction with DSL Drilling Structures and Offshore Construction Services. The details of the deal are undisclosed.
DSL is involved in the design and manufacture of Derricks & Land Rigs and also undertakes Rig Upgrade and Offshore Construction/Refurbishment Projects, Worldwide, supported from its bases in Singapore, Houston and the UK. This acquisition comes on the back of a significant upturn in DSLs core business activities which has dictated further expansion of their Houston and Singapore fabrications facilities, both of which were only opened at the beginning of this year..
